TRYOUTS OVERSEAS

It has always been on the back of our mind when the first player would break through on to the International Professional scene, we are now in our final preparations to bring Carlo Dorin from our 2001/02 First Team to tryout with current table toppers Chiangrai United from the Thailand Premier League.

Coming from a recent run of form in the U19 Philippine National Team the PFF has allowed Carlo to gain valuable training experience in the SEA Games squad before leaving for Thailand.

With previous players reaching professional youth levels in Europe and South East Asia, we hope that this will be the first of many GOM FOOTBALL players to showcase their talent overseas at this level.

GOM PLAYERS BREAKING INTO THE NATIONAL TEAM

Representing the country at any level is a great honour and privilege. GOM FOOTBALL fully supports its players when selected to represent the Country. We also help to mentor the players throughout the tryout periods, camps and competition.

We understand that the selection process is not easy and not every player will reach this level of football which is why we also encourage the National Team players to share there experiences and help influence our program positively.

With players now representing at U19, U16, U15 for both boys and girls we hope to see players breaking in to the Senior National Teams in the future.

Players will be given a required standard and required to attendance a minimum number of training sessions and Academy standard games.

The preparation also includes arranging professional games in South East Asia and camps at the GOM FOOTBALL Training Facility, Great Oak Manor, Siniloan. The coaching staff and directors are very excited for this tour.
