Why is sport science important for young athletes? Strength training is now well-known as both safe and effective for youth when appropriately designed and supervised by qualified professionals and consistent with the individual’s goals, abilities & needs. There is also a lot of scientific evidence that supports regular participation in youth strength training to have positive results in health and fitness adaptations and sports performance enhancement.
The improvement of athletic performance in youth athletes is a difficult task, and to achieve high-levels of athleticism requires an organized long-term plan.
Sports participation alone, does not offer enough to improve athleticism.
Sport Science can help to fix these issues by protecting against injuries and positively affecting the youth athlete’s physical foundations. Sport science will optimize the body to perform at its best through every means: training, sleep, nutrition & mental health.
Stronger youth athletes will be better prepared to learn complicated skills, master sport tactics, and sustain the intensities of training and competition.
TESTING & FEEDBACK
As part of our professional approach, the program has a Wellness Survey to help gauge the athletes session preparation and maximum potential output. We also have a testing a feedback system to compliment the training and the athletes goals.
